10 November 2022 – Alcalali to Parcent

15 of us again for the third Valley Ramblers walk

This included Annie, who did not have a Spanish class this week

Earlier in the week we thought we would have to cancel due to weather forecast

But the storm forecast is now due tonight

And we had excellent walking weather yet again

We have been really lucky this year, hope it lasts

I treat all of these walks as a recce

I am trying to mix and match known routes

But to avoid any difficult terrain

I have planned 20 walks in the valley

And four more outside, such as Olta

The first three have gone really well

All have been almost exactly three hours

And no one has complained about the terrain

Once again we have collected a really nice group of walkers

And all have mixed in well right from the start

It is hard to believe we have only been going for three weeks

We had our after walk drinks in bar Porche

Looking forward to next week’s walk
